During a spay day we came across this poor lady who had clearly been hit by a car and left, unable to walk. She was laying on the side of the beach road, unable to even move towards food being offered to her.
We couldn’t leave her, she’d only suffer alone! So she stayed with us for 1 night before being taken to the clinic for X-rays and a complete check up.
Results have found she has a broken hip bone however it’s a clean break that hasn’t moved so with rest, calcium, pain relief, good food and a restricted area, she is likely to make a full recovery within a month. We are confident Lady will have a smooth recovery and be ready to join a new home soon.
